Life for Rent
Along the way, I think we all try to look for some life’s instructions, not to better guide us, but to represent what we believe our lives to be: what you are determines what you want to be, and what you want to be determines what your life will be.
I happened to find anecdotes representative of my life in quote books and works of literature a lot (not surprisingly), or in TV advertisements, or funny nuggets of ideas, or even bumper stickers and license plates.
Since our lives are rented time, and we don’t live forever (well, I don’t anyway), what we gather during this time should be cherished. This page is dedicated precisely to the recording of these things … to remind me in a tangible, albeit verbose, form of how rich my life in fact is.
Meanwhile, you, my reader, might even find it mildly amusing.
So, enjoy — I know I will.
